Following Uganda’s confirmation as an EITI member country, the State Minister for Microfinace and Small Enterprises in the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development and the State Minister for Mineral Development in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development were appointed as political heads to champion EITI implementation in Uganda.
